Yup, I also have the tell-tale signs of buffing distributed around the garage The best one for me was when I was plugging in the air hose to a body shutz gun which unknown to me had a plugged nozzle.

I had ths same problem on my car. It took a lot of pushing, pulling, cursing and the use of a drift pin in the holes to pry down the windshield.

After bead blasting I push them through a piece of cardboard then spray with cold galvanizing compound. After you put them on paint the heads.
