- I just finished cleaning up some steel wheels for use on the '72 Spit. The wheels are from a MK3. Are there any differences between the stock wheels for a MK3 and a MKIV, other than cosmetic ? Width

- I have 175/70's on mine, no problem at all! Of course, I have nothing to compare to, but the OD is the same as 155/80 so there ya go. :-) I'm running a tire that you can only get from Canadian Tire

- No problems with rubbing at all... except maybe a bit on the inside edge at full lock... not that you ever need to crank the wheel thta much in a spit! Luke
