I might add the following: The MkIV gearbox is a little longer than the Mk3 owing to the extra synchronizer in first gear. So if you use a full synchro 3-rail with OD, the driveshaft will need to be

How do you identify a Spitfire Mk3 overdrive (and transmission)? Are there numers on the OD to indicate that it is for a sptifre mk3? I understnd that tese are the d-type OD. How do you determine if
