Move the rear wheels and tires to the front and vice versa. If the shake moves with the wheels, you have your answer. If not, you have at least eliminated the most likely cause of the trouble. Joe

Don't overlook the possibility of a bent axle shaft or bent rim. If you bang into a curb can easily bend these. Perhaps the best way to check is have someone follow you and watch your rear tires. If

It's darn hard to detect bad u-joints just by grasping and shaking the axle or yoke. Even experts can easily get tripped by them. They are just held in too firmly for your punny forces to impress the
