Opinions? I have one of those too! If Triumph thought it was needed, they would have put one on. Since the engine does not have valve seals, too much oil will cause the engine to smoke as oil is suck

I'm in agreement with Joe on this one. This is not an overhead cam engine that critically needs upper oil. It's just a run of the mill set of rockers clacking away on top of the head.
