- You have to pull the OD rearward at least 6 inches or so, to allow the it to the transmission's output shaft. It might be hard or impossible to do this without the OD getting blocked by the driveshaf

- Doug and Jeff, It is possible to remove the entire transmission/OD out the inside of the car. The forward lip of the tunnel may offer a bit of restriction and can be trimmed to make the job easier. B

- Having rebuilt my own 3 rail tranny with a D type O/D (my GT6)... I'd have to say I don't see any reason why you couldn't pull just the O/D. The only real pain in the A___... is getting the internal
