Perhaps Reid and Alan can also help. My experience with DEQ is they are stupid, and simply go by the exhaust coming out of the tail pipe. They have never impressed me with their knowledge of any car

John: My two cents = Arizona Emissions Testing wouldn't have been aware that Hobbs (77 Spit) needed an air pump if they hadn't seen a sticker under the hood telling them so. Check door jams & inside
