- That is how the manual states one should re-install an engine into the car when one has been removed leaving the gearbox in the car. Just spent an aggravating afternoon trying to do just that. Engine

- Hi Nick, While it's straightforward to take out the gearbox in isolation, I've never been tempted to take the engine out and leave the 'box behind. It's a lot less work to remove and replace both as
