Paul, I also found similar spacers not for the hard top but for the pivot pin on the clutch release. Nobody had such spacers. They sell them for car door pins in various sizes. I just measured and go

The trim is in a flattened C cross section. The rivets are special ones ( Rimmer has them at least) and just get rivetted into the holes on the lower back edge of the hardtop. There should be holes
