I had the same problem. Now as part of my rebuild I am having the block spray welded and reground. Hopefully it will solve my problems, especially with what the parts on this rebuild are costing me.

I got mine from them as well & have been very happy with it. I have installed a number of convertible tops on various LBC's and this one had the nicest fit & required little tweaking. Hope this helps
