Dee, According to the schematics I have, the brake switch on a GT6 should have one green wire (power in) and one green/purple wire (power to the lamps). This is consistant with the color code used in

Nikki, As Andy pointed put, this is most likely a problem with the brake failure warning switch. Try disconnecting the black/purple wire from the warning switch and see if the lights don't go out. If
