According to the schematics I have, the brake switch on a GT6 should have one
green wire (power in) and one green/purple wire (power to the lamps). This is
consistant with the color code used in Spitfires, TR6s, MGs, and most other
British cars of this era. The purple/black wire is for the horn button. I
would suspect an error in the Haynes manual.
