As per fellow listers advice I got a comp prep manual, and in it states "Even though the bearings are quite a bit wider then stock, they only need chamfering to fit." I hope this helps, I plan on do

When I converted to OD, I tried Redline gear oil in the untested, just-put-in tranny. The OD slipped under torque when cold, once warmed, slippage was reduced. Whether it was the oil or a worn out OD
