Also...there's the power to the PCM. Check that wire from the battery, and also from the harness to the ground on the fender. How bright is the CE light with the key on? Does the CE light work? Georg

In 5th gear, 70 mph is 2800 RPM plus or minus a few. As a rough average, 2000 RPM in each gear is ten times the gear....so 2000 RPM is 20 mph in 2nd, 30 mph in 3rd, 40 mph in 4th, and 50 mph in 5th.
