Think all the Tork-tubes were 4:11 cept maybe powerglide, not sure what they had. I tore down a 41 which is same for trucks with tork way up in years and it was 4:11. No one wanted any parts, cept ma

Someone sent me a scan from the restoration pack on the page with the gear information on it. It seems that some were 4.11 and some were 3.73 (or something like that, I don't have it sitting right in

Hello Rich, I am looking at Page 126-Rear Axle of my Chevy 1951 Spec's-Truck info included with my restoration package. For 3100 series it lists Final gears as 4.11:1. For 3600 series it lists Final

RPO may be Regular Production Option or similar. It is the option number either way. It shows them in the assembly manuals. I bet that is for the Hydromatic trans only, an option in 54 and later. G.
