- Cutting out the seat riser is a common mistake. it is a structural member of the cab and without it, the floor will "tin-can" As the PO probably realized after (or while) installing the bucket seats

- If you are going to build an enclosed base, consider hiding a storage cubby hole there. Good place to keep radar detector etc. when not in use. If planned ahead of time, it is doable. David Edwards
