So I just bought an old 2nd series Chevy, thought it was a 55 but starting to think it's a 56 cause the fender emblem is above the crease, but all the pics I see have 3100chevrolet on the emblem but

Yes Canadian model numbers are different. My 59 GMC is a 9314, and it would have been a 100 in the USA. In the GMC line the engines were different as well, USA would have a 270 and in Canada they had
