I run my 54 with 55fst series rear end with -2 Degs When you stand on it will come up some but with what you have you may need to play with it some but I would start with -2 degs where are you locate

The 261 is just like a 235 its hard to tell them apart. The 250 or 292 are a more modern style of engine they will use some parts of the small block V8 it is more of a universal engine then the 261 t
