- on the knob there is a little hexhead set screw that you must loosten then unscrew the knob then you can remove the nut that scres into the switch itself. i know this just because i had the same prob

- i have what i was told is a 235 engine but could be 216 engine with a blown head gasket that i need to get rid of. i am doing the v 8 route in my 53 so its just in the way. make me an offer zach 53 3

- the 3970010 is the number to decode. i found that it is used an several engines. if you are sure its a 350 it was manufactured from 69-80 in 2 or 4 bolt mains, it was also used on 327's in 69 with 2
