the 3970010 is the number to decode.  i found that it is used an  several 
engines.  if you are sure its a 350 it was manufactured from 69-80  in 2 or 4 
bolt mains,  it was also used on 327's in 69 with 2 bolt mains,  and used on 
the 
302 in 69 with 4 bolt mains in z28 camaro's.  hope this  helps
