- Good folks, A misfire in my 67 BGT through the idle and under load has developed and worsened. Engine has 2000+ miles since restoration. Regapped the plugs in there and checked point gap at 16 thou.

- Check contacts around the ignition circuit - don't forget to look @ the tacho when it happens. A sudden zero RPM idicates sudden lose contacts a the ignition.... Cheers, Hans

- If it's at idle clip a timing light onto the coil lead and each plug lead and watch the flashes. If the misfire is accompanied by a missing flash then ignition is the problem, otherwise probably carb
