- I am fixing up a 71 MGB and i'm trying to get all the electrical stuff set up so that i can try and start it, can any one help with the wiring of it all? thanks

- For running you only need power on the white for the coil and fuel pump. But if the alternator is connected when running you must have a battery connected, which you will need for cranking anyway. No
