Jason, Yes there is something else that can cause those nasty noises, it's the rear bearing in the tranny. When the bearing is bad it can sound like the rear end is shot. I had this problem on one of

Chased that one for a year... Replaced damn near everything. It is your drum brake rubbing against the dust cover plate. Caused by runout in the diff. When you make hard turnes the axle moves in such
