- I found that by using my knees behind the wheel and tapping the spindle with a hammer I was finally able to break the grip of my old wheel. Use the nut to protect the threads and don't get neandertha

- Hey Eric, Are you running wires? I used to get a "clonk" upon application of the brakes when the splines were loose. And an out-of-true condition will definitely give you the shimmy. Just a thought.
