The Mini Cooper just wasn't meant to be. The guy's family had a cow when
they learned that he was selling it outside the family. Not one of them is
an enthusiast, and in his words "they all drive Euro-trash; BMW, Mercedes,
with a mini-van here and there. They don't even know how to work on a car".
He said his thirteen year old granddaughter started crying because she wants
the car when she turns 16. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!! I want to off the
whole damn lot of them. Too bad, 'cause the guy would really like to see it
go to someone who won't just run it into the ground. He used to own 5 of
them at one time and raced a Morgan when he was younger. Damn, damn,
damn...
After researching the Land Rover Discovery, it turns out to be less than
reliable, underpowered, fuel hungry, and involved in a class-action lawsuit
due to rust problems. Another common complaint is that they leak oil. HA!,
it's British, what do they expect? If anybody is interested it is available
for low-book and is in mint condition. Dark green, leather interior,
automatic, dual sunroofs, brushgaurd package, fancy wheels. It's a '96 SE,
and is in eastern Washington.
