- I've seen a lot of blue heads. The reason has usually been that if you send out the head to be rebuilt, the machine shops had a tendency to send them back to you, beautifully refinished, but in blue.

- Commonly they won't let you put an engine in it that's older than the car. In other words, a '68 MGB with a '72 engine would be okay, but not the other way around. Has to do with not putting an engin
