But My oil pressure guage also read about 10 lb at hot idle til I rebuilt the bottom end of the engine. It now reads like Greg's oil guage. I'm sure that the guage didn't change during the pricess,

I had a 68 B. It had an electric oil pressure guage. Very slow to react to changes in oil pressure. I think the 69 is the same. Check your parts books for confirmation of this guess. Bill Olson Arkan
