If the pin prick goes in and you can't feel it, it won't hurt the bearings. I don't know what it is, but could be due to the nitriding. Whether or not the crank is straight is of much greater conseq

James, the pin pricks will probably not be a problem. Maybe blemishes from the nitrating. If you can't feel them with your finger nail then they won't hurt your bearings. The .001" tolerance is actua
