Hi Bill, the These were holes for rivets, round-headed, over washers on the outside. to I don't know about the 3 snaps that wrap around the rear mounting post. My sidecurtains do not have those. The

IMO you have aftermarket side curtains. Years ago some curtains were manufactured without the wire stiffener in the lower section. The flap was so you could insert the wire stiffener from your old se
