These were holes for rivets, round-headed, over washers on the outside.

I don't know about the 3 snaps that wrap around the rear mounting post.
My sidecurtains do not have those.
The snap on the coth tab closes the flap to the door, when the flap is
not open to allow your arm outside for turn signalling.
