My understanding is that the TD does not have a paint code on the ID plate. You may never know the original color. But, on the other hand, you have the freedom to choose a color and no one can claim

Don't forget that the TC already runs lower RPM per MPH because of the larger tire diameter (The rear end ratio is the same). We TD owners have to modify our differentials just to get our cruising RP
