- Team Arrow/Williams broke the 50 year old record held by NSU since 1956 for a 500cc BFS. He blew a tire near the end of the run and crashed but still managed to up the record by 3mph. That's smokin!

- Hey These Team Arrow guys are actually LOTS faster then their new record implies... they ran 228 in the middle mile and crashed due to a tire failure in the 5 on that last run... the record ended up

- The bike went down about 400 ft before the lights when the front tire blew, the bike was on it's side sliding and went off to the right side of the course. It cut the 132 ft trap and 5 mile trap wire
