Smokin runs

Team Arrow/Williams broke the 50 year old record held by NSU since 1956
for a 500cc BFS.  He blew a tire near the end of the run and crashed but
still managed to up the record by 3mph. That's smokin!  I think pieces
of his bike were recorded at 270 mph. That may have been one of the
longest standing records on the books.
