- Scott,Go anyway! You don't need the low/reverse to go forward. I myself have changed one in less than 3 hours with no hoist. 20 min. work after you get the trans out at the most. Bands don't cost muc

- Scott What tranny are you running? If you run a TH 350, you don't need the band. It only comes into play for coast down in second. It will free wheel shutting down. I run a drag car with a TH350 and

- He is a Mopar guy. Has a torque flite. Low/reverse bands break in reverse mostly because reverse does not use the pressure regulator in the flow. That is why you never back up on leveling blocks with

- Dick, The L/R band only controls manual low and reverse. He will still have 1st,2nd and high or as it is called break away, intermediate and high gear. Break away has no engine slow down so they have
