On the passenger side of GM TH350 transmissions, just above the starter on the bellhousing, there is a tab with about a 5/8" hole that sticks out horizontally. On the other side, there is a tab that

Dick, come to think about it,... I use that rightside lug as a 'bitchin' mount for a clamp holding my main heavy 12V cable going to the starter from the Bat'ry in th' trunk. Works A#1 spiffy ........
