Bryan, I don't remember what the heaviest wall PVC is but that's what the guys seem to use without problems. I'd still turn the compressor off when the shop is unattended "just-in-case". Ardun Doug /

Schedule 40 PVC will hold the pressure all right, but the problem is that it is brittle. If the pipe gets smacked with something while under pressure, it can explode, sending PVC shrapnel all over. T
