Mayf, that suggestion for essentially making the pilot bearing longer solves part of the problem. The other part is that the release bearing is also .850 in short of contacting the fingers of the pre

Doug... can't you just make a spacer to bring the Pilot bushing housing out that much? Maybe something that bolts to the flywheel? Hmmm Speedway sells a cool tool to check the depths of these things.
