Anyone heard of this before? It's new to me! "A quick note to pick your brains..... I have just got the Heritage Certificate through for my BN1 and it states that it was fitted with 42 V1 S carburet

I believe the build cards for BN1s, particularly very early BN1s, were put on left over Austin factory build cards that had incorrect information stamped onto them in some categories. For example th

This is a downdraft Zenith single carburettor as fitted to A70s. I had one on an A-H engine for some time when I ran a 100 engine in an A70 Hereford. One has to use an A70 inlet and exhaust manifold
