wrong shock, its not for the front but the rear, and on a late bj8 which has shorter thicker bolts, question was: "Can someone tell me how long the bolts should be that hold the rear shocks on? Late

Lin Easiest way with the hub removed is to put a socket over the head of the stud and squeeze it in a vice, then to reinstall put the socket over the other threaded side and again squeeze in a vice.N

The main large 8 sided thin wall hub nuts are handed that hold the hub onto the axle, the smaller hub locknuts that hold the hub extension and disc/ drum are not. I believe only the axle for the bj8

The easy way is to get the half axle shafts that you have already taken out and place them backwards so that the domed head is against the hub with the hub studs going through the holes in the head
