In the Triumph Service Instruction Manual, 0.001" to 0.003" is recommended. Maybe steel valve guides will cause no problems,but I believe bronze guides should be reamed to the original size after fit

Ed, I bought the cylinderhead from an englishman, Jon Ellison, before that I had one from Racetorations, both with bronze valve guides. I don't know who actually did the work on these cylinderheads.

The TR4A diaphragm type clutch cover can take much more power than the spring type TR2-TR4. The TR3 flywheel has to be redrilled and you need also the TR4A bearing carrier and release bearing. Moss E

Steve, With an A-type or J-type overdrive gearbox, you can mount a 1:4.33 or better still, a 1:4.55 rear axle : acceleration is much improved and on most circuits, the overdrive has to be engaged 1x
