Go with the starter interrupt. The ignition cut-out could lead to a frustrated thief running the battery down or worse still, the thief might try to roll start it. Maybe consider a battery disconnec

There was an article in the "Roadster Review" @ 10 years ago centered on theft prevention. I believe that it had both starter and ignition circuits. It was designed to open the KEY cranking circuit.

I just drive a car that is so beat up and rusty that nobody would steal it for fear of tetnus. Mine has a "factory" ignition kill already installed also. Sometimes it just won't crank. Nomad Trash

I have one of those "special" ignition switches on my '70 1600. You can crank forever but it won't "catch" until you let go. A lot cheaper than a Doberman. I'm willing to swap it for a regular switch

There is a company that makes a device just for locking the brakes. I think mico or mica and I think is's called a lever lock but not sure. It's used a lot in industry as a aid to parking brakes. FWI
