- Hi kids...I have a slight problem with the reassembly of my engine; if I tighten the rod bolts to full torque value I can't turn the engine over by hand anymore, so I am guessing that the rod bearing

- When I rebuilt my engine the first time, my lower tensioner was broken off also. I had both my bottom tensioner and the upper L bracket modified to strengthen them. This was done about 100,000 miles

- All OHV engines I've seen (well, all two types) have a tensioner. The timing chain is equivelant to the lower chain on the U20, so I'd say it's there for a good reason. /// datsun-roadsters@autox.tea
