- The first thing I would check would be the connections going to the distributor. On the stock setup there are two wires going to the ignition. One goes directly to the coil and gives a full 12 volts

- Did you leave the ballast resistor in place? If you did, 10 to 1 the ballast resistor has gone open, but you don't need it anyway with one of Gary's distributors. RD
