A response from a 1970 owner - others may chime in (sure they will) - if you are referring to the screw that is in the slide/bit that the window rests on, there should be a plastic bit that is formed

I don't know if this applies in this case, but I have often heard, and indeed believe, that with old nuts/bolts it is often better to tighten them up a flat or so and then begin to loosen FWIW ______

there should be two lifting points on a engine block - both exterior (sort of slotted loops) - one unfortunately attached to a head bolt(rear i believe) and the other attached to a point to the right

My mistake - I should have said PLUG - it's about 1.5 ins long, 1 in wide and about 1 in deep. Fills the hole under the cigarrette lighter and stops road crud coming in. _____________________________
