On my Z (both dometop SUs and flattop Hitachis) you push the throttle down, rather than pull up. If you change to Z carbs, you'll need to fabricate some type of linkage to push rather than pull. == A

You're lucky! Removal is a snap. There are two brackets (each) that hold the speedo and tach in the dash. They should be held to the speedo and tach by wingnuts. Remove those, remove any cables, then

I don't think this applies to the flat dash Roadsters. I had to remove the tach in my '70 and that was a much more difficult job, requiring removing the bolts holding the steering column to the dash,
