How come I've never seen brake fluid recommended as a paint remover? Seems to me you can get cheap DOT3 that would do the job and might be easier to get rid of than other paint removers. Any thoughts

I could not get paint removal chemicals to do the job on my TR3 so I used abrasives. I sand blasted edges and bends using #30 sand at about 80 lbs. I used a 3M rotery stripper on the flats. SANDBLAST

Hey sol's In myexperience the absolut best my to get the paint off a car is to have it dipped. There is a company here in atlanta that will take a stripped car and have it in bare metal the next week
