- After you try to start it, pull a plug, look at it, and smell it. If it is wet and/or smells of fuel, it's getting fuel. Dry all the plugs before your next trial if they are wet. My guess is it isn't

- Timing at this point isn't at all critical. It will start within maybe +/- 20 or 30 degrees. For rough-in after rebuild, the manuals say just set #1 to TDC, then rotate the distributor until the poin

- I disagree here. Try taking your rotor off then turn the engine over.....it will turn over very fast. Why? I don't know. I just know from experience that a the engine turn over faster without a spar
