A MG TC owning friend highly recommends Delo 400 for old engines...I have been using it with success in my MG SA which has poured bearings and my sailboat Atomic 4 engine even tho it is a gas engine

That's a bit of an exaggeration. Rather they've reduced the amount of zinc by 30% or so. Only if you don't change the oil often enough. Increased zinc levels don't provide more protection, they just
