If Getreibe means Gearbox, does reibe mean box? the 5-speed in the Jensen-Healey isn't the same as the ones used in the small-body 4-cyl BMWs (2002, 320i) of that era. Nelson Yaple has the same engin

I wish it was a Getrag, unfortunately it is a Lotus home brew based on the Austin Maxi Gears. From all accounts it was a pretty lame idea. I have been researching a possible replacement, to no avail
