When starting or shifting my TR250 I get a clunk from the rear end. I got under and checked and the axles and drive shaft feel solid, no sign of play in the U-joints. Because the clunk doesn't always

Larry asks: Did you check all 6 U-joints. There is both an inner and outer u-joint on each rear axel. Another possibility is the rubber shock mounts and/or the mounts themselves. -- Bill Sohl (K2UNK)

I was unable to spot bad U-joints on either TR6 due to the location of the joints (hard to see/feel). The second TR6 received new differential mounts, pinion seal, and 6 U-joints as one operation. Al
